    Why film?
Common DI seminar processes are described in detail in the book: Diversity Icebreaker - How to Manage Diversity Processes (2008). A live performance, as given in this film, has however better opportunities for conveying group dynamics, participant experiences, reflections and the humor flavoring DI processes. The goal of this DVD is to strengthen your confidence in applying Diversity Icebreaker and to assist you in achieving your goals – from the very first time you apply this tool.

    The film comprises 3 parts:
Part 1: Presenting a way to start the seminar and how to make groups for DI sessions.
Part 2: Presenting how the groups describe themselves and the others, by using a flip over.
Part 3: Presenting briefly how to start the further DI-processes. Consultants will typically apply different approaches subject to the goal of the seminar.

The film is recorded with 3 digital cameras, springtime 2009, by the student managed company Open Box Media, at the North Trøndelag University College.
